GNBF Championships Natural Bodybuilding: Conditions of participation

I hereby register for the GNBF Championship.
I confirm that I have read the anti-doping regulations of the GNBF e.V. (GNBF e.V. Anti-Doping Rules + Lists | GNBF - German Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation e.V.) and does not infringe the current prohibited list (https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/world-anti-doping-code-and-international-standards/prohibited-list).

According to an agreement between the INBA/PNBA and the GNBF, it is considered important that the collection and evaluation of urine tests are subject to high quality standards.

For this reason, Global Quality Sports GmbH (https://gqs-antidoping.de/en/home/) is commissioned to take urine tests. GQS GmbH is an ISO-certified company based in Stuttgart and Berlin. GQS conducts doping tests in many different sports. Employees of GQS GmbH will take urine samples from selected athletes during the competition and during the registration process. In addition, physical visits are carried out on selected athletes in order to document puncture sites or other physical abnormalities. Samples are taken in accordance with WADA's international standard for doping testing. The samples are sent to a WADA-certified laboratory in Cologne or Dresden/Kreischa.

If an athlete tests positive, the GNBF e.V. will hand over the case to the respective state president for further processing.

Doping is punishable by law in Germany. The relevant regulations are regulated in the Anti-Doping in Sport Act (Anti-Doping Act – AntiDopG) (AntiDopG - Gesetz gegen Doping im Sport (gesetze-im-internet.de)).

I hereby declare that I am of legal age.

If I want to participate and did not reach the age of 18, I will send the written declaration of consent of my legal guardians to sekretariat@gnbf.de by e-mail within ten days of registration. Otherwise, my registration for the GNBF championship will be cancelled without notice.

In accordance with the rules and regulations of the INBA – the international partner association of the GNBF e. V. – the GNBF e. V. International German Newcomer Championship is open to all athletes of any nationality who:
* are either on stage for the very first time
* or who have not previously achieved a top 3 ranking in their previous competitions with the GNBF e.V. or another Natural Bodybuilding Association in case that there has been a minimum of five athletes in the regarded class.

Athletes who have already competed for a federation where no doping tests have been carried out are generally not eligible to compete in the GNBF International Newcomer Championship, regardless of their ranking. These regulations also apply to the Novice classes, which are offered integrated into any other GNBF championships.

I confirm that I have read the class and evaluation criteria that are relevant to me and that I accept them without reservation.

If I have not already done so at the time of registration, I will provide proof of my membership in the GNBF e.V. or a partner association on the day of registration.

All outstanding fees will be paid by bank transfer in advance.

Due to the limited starting places for the championship, I understand that there will be no refund of the invoice amount if I cannot show up for the registered for the competition. The only exception: Upon presentation of a medical certificate certifying that it is not possible for me to participate in the competition for health reasons, the invoice amount will be refunded.

If I start more than once, I can cancel my start in individual categories and classes when I enroll, but I will not receive a refund of my entry fee.

The final class assignment will take place at the end of the enrollment on site. It is classified in ascending order of height. The final list of starters will be published in the WhatsApp group GNBF Championship 2024 and on the homepage of GNBF e.V. (www.gnbf.net).

I confirm that I have read and will follow the information about the GNBF Championship. This also applies to the division of the categories.

2.
I agree that GNBF e.V. may store and process my personal data electronically for the performance of its tasks.

I give the GNBF e.V. my consent to the free storage and use of all film and photo material about my person, which is created as part of my participation in the GNBF Championship, free of charge in terms of time and place. Examples include publication on the club's website, Flickr, YouTube, Instagram, competition posters, etc. This also applies to the publication of the list of starters and results with my full name on the website. I also agree that the GNBF Championship will be reported publicly and thus the creation of image and video material of my person in the course of reporting will be accepted.

This consent can be revoked by me at any time with effect for the future, but leads to the exclusion of participation in future championships of the GNBF e.V.

Furthermore, the data protection guidelines of GNBF e.V. (Datenschutz | GNBF - German Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation e.V.). By participating, I accept all the terms and conditions mentioned.

As a GNBF member, I accept the GNBF Anti-Doping Rules (GNBF e.V. Anti-Doping Rules + Lists | GNBF - German Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation e.V.)

In national and international competitions, I accept the WADA list of prohibited substances (https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/world-anti-doping-code-and-international-standards/prohibited-list).

At international competitions of the GNBF, I also accept the anti-doping regulations of the INBA (https://naturalbodybuilding.com/banned-substances). If the INBA rules and the GNBF rules contradict each other, the more detailed and stricter set of rules applies in each case.

For national competitions (for instance GNBF German Championship), the rules of the FFMI also apply: Fat-Free Mass Index | GNBF - German Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation e.V.

I have carefully read and understood the rules of the FFMI.

I am aware that unannounced doping controls and tests can be carried out with my registration, even if there is no active membership yet.

In the event of a refusal to start by GNBF e.V., I am not entitled to any legal claims for damages. Examples include travel expenses, accommodation costs and tanning costs.

I accept that in the event of a positive test result, I will automatically lose my membership in the GNBF e.V. and will be banned from participating in the GNBF Championship and other competitions of the GNBF e.V. for life. In addition, I accept that I will have to cover the costs of testing and analysis in the event of a positive result.

4.
I accept that the GNBF e.V. assumes no liability for any personal injuries that are in connection with the preparation for the GNBF Championship or in direct connection with the said competition.

5.
If the GNBF Championship must be cancelled or postponed due to force majeure, I am not entitled to any compensation.

The same applies to short-term, unforeseeable, and unplannable official orders that are issued, for example in connection with a pandemic.
